Bookstore etiquette

You know what really grinds my gears?!?!

Picture this...You walk into a bookstore to find a book.  You walk around aimlessly until you think you found the section.  Then, you see this:

A book store is for finding and purchasing books, magazines, calendars, movies, compact discs, etc.  The book store shouldn't be used as a library!  If you want to read a book, buy it and go home.  This is exactly why book stores are struggling to survive (and iPad, Kindle, Nook, etc).  Do us all a favor, buy the book and LEAVE!!!!

What do you think?

  1. Now, I could understand if this person was browsing and kinda checking out some stuff and their legs got tired. I'll admit I'll do it. But I won't sit down and read the darn thing. i'll browse it and kinda see if it sparks my interest, but I do spend a silly amount of time in the store browsing...

  2. You can't browse through a book for 3 minutes and decide if you want to read it? I should have mentioned, I was in the book store for 10 minutes and this guy was sitting in the same position, reading the same book for the entire 10 minutes.
